Halloween 2014

Halloween is so fun with three little girls.  Actually, a lot of things are fun with these three girls.  I can't help but smile whenever I look at their cute faces.  Especially in action or candid shots.  I can usually tell what they were doing or saying or thinking at that moment.  I really feel so lucky that I've been blessed with these three...
Eleanor dressed up as Rainbow dash, Molly was Minnie Mouse and originally Penelope was going to be Elsa, but then she decided on Katy Perry from her Roar music video. She put together her leopard print shirt and green tutu on her own and she really wanted to make a flower headband so we got out the glue gun and threw one together and attached some flowers to her tutu.  She is such a funny girl.  I love her originality and creativity and her excitement.

I like this picture because it sums up their personalities so well.
Penelope is cooperating and excited to have her picture taken, Eleanor and Molly are running around being crazy :)

Oh Eleanor, silly goose!
This girl and her faces! She is so expressive.
"Enough pictures, let's go trick or treating!!!!!"

Molly was pretty nervous when she saw everyone all dressed up.

But once she got her first candy, she was totally into it.
I wish our neighborhood would start trick or treating a little earlier with more daylight. Andrew headed home early with Penelope and Molly because they were a little too scared to stay out once it got dark.  I stayed out longer with Eleanor and some friends. It's been so fun living in our neighborhood and putting down some roots and making friends and creating memories!

Eleanor's Birthday

On Eleanor's birthday we took family pictures and went to dinner at Red Robin.

The next day she invited 3 friends (plus Molly and Penelope) to go to Monkey Joe's - Shaelynn, Arden, and Hayden.
After they were done bouncing around we went back to our house for pizza and donuts.  Eleanor wanted a donut cake so that is what she got! Then the girls opened presents and played in the backyard.  Penelope loved being one of the big girls and they all had a really fun time together.

It is so fun to watch my girls grow up, and Eleanor is no exception.  She is so smart, she can figure almost anything out on her own, which sometimes makes her seem a little sneaky.  She's very creative. She loves playing with and being in charge of her sisters.  She loves learning new things and she loves having projects and tasks to do, unless it involves cleaning.  She really doesn't like to clean, unless it is her own room.  She loves organizing and arranging things in her room just right.  She loves her stuffed animals, she loves hanging things on her walls.  She likes to make number charts.  She can count to 100. She likes to play school with Penelope.  She wants to be a doctor or a vet when she grows up. She is getting pretty good at tying her shoes.  She loves online shopping on amazon. Whenever I go to actually buy something I have to empty about 60 things from the shopping cart.  She also was chosen as "terrific kid" for this semester from her Kindergarten class.  The teacher chooses one student each semester who has really excelled at being a good student  a good example and a good leader. This is what her certificate from her teacher said, "Eleanor is a role model for our class with her good behavior.  She is always willing to help a classmate and is consistently polite to her peers and adults in and out of the classroom.  Eleanor, I am so proud of all you have accomplished since starting Kindergarten.  Keep up the wonderful things you are doing.  You truly are a terrific kid."  She missed a couple of days of school while we were at Disneyworld and we were a little tardy the day she returned so I had to bring her to her classroom and it was so cute to hear all of her classmates shout, "Eleanor! You're back!!" when we walked in.  She really is a neat little kid and we love her a lot! :)
