Our summer according to my iphone :)
Hanging out in the backyard...

Granny nanny and mimi came to town.
We made a quick trip to Savannah and Hilton Head. We even ate at Paula Deen's restaurant, Lady and Sons.
It was Southern down-home comfort food at it's finest!
We got patriotic for the 4th of July
Eleanor and Penelope took a 6 week dance class. Eleanor didn't really like it because she didn't like wearing the dance shoes they had to wear. But Penelope is a natural :)
Dress like a cow day at Chick-Fil-A...

It also happened to be 7-11 day and we got free slurpies, too!
We spent a lot of time at the pool...
Penelope went to the dentist for the first time
The girls spent plenty of time playing with my makeup...
And looking cute...
Hanging at Meineke waiting for an oil change. Luckily there's a dollar store right next to it so we walked over and everyone could pick one thing. Win, win. Kills time and keeps them happy and occupied!
Andrew and I had a getaway for our 7 year anniversary. We went to Amelia Island, right outside of Jacksonville for 2 nights. It was so nice to have a little break! Andrew's parents watched the girls and I know the girls loved it, and probably didn't even miss us. Knowing they did so well makes me realize we could definitely do this again :)
Ya-Ya and Dougie helped the girls do an art project of life size cutouts of themselves
Lots of happy hours spent at sonic
Lots of playing with toys at Target
Andrew's office had a night at the baseball game. It was soooo hot. But the views were awesome. The girls didn't last very long and I think we were out of there by the 4th inning.
Molly is becoming such a big kid. She has her own opinions, she knows what she likes, she can play independently, and most of all she is always making us laugh!
Eleanor is still oozing with creativity and lots of crazy ideas. This is her version of bunk beds...
And Eleanor was kind enough to pour about 15 cups of lemonade for anyone who wanted some. Luckily I came into the kitchen just in time to find Molly dumping lemonade from cup to cup.
We had such a fun, low-key summer. It's weird to think it was our last before anyone goes to school. But I'm excited that the school year
has begun and Eleanor can use her creative juices at school instead of
making lots and lots of messes at home :)
